I'm forever losing my earrings and I’ve been on the look out for an earring holder but I wanted one where I could hang studs as well. It was quite simple to make, I started off by taking an old frame and painting it white. Once it was dry I used fine sand paper on the frame to give it a more aged appearance. I then got a foam board and wrapped some scrap fabric around it and glued it to the back of the frame. Its all very Blue Peter! After the glue had set I tied a floral strip of fabric to two hoops on the back, put the earrings in and hung it on the wall and there we go! Thing is I keep forgetting to put the earrings back into the holder and have now lost them all over again.
